About Me Professionally
My Story
I’ve been a graphic designer for 28 years. When I first started, computers weren’t yet a staple of the industry. We had just one computer, used primarily to set typography around hand-selected artwork. It wasn’t long before the digital revolution transformed everything—and I embraced it wholeheartedly.

I’m proud to be a self-taught, hard-working designer who thrives on learning new tools and techniques to enhance my craft. Over the years, I've continued to adapt and evolve, always eager to explore new technologies and creative approaches.

What I love most about graphic design is connecting with clients to understand what they want to communicate to their audience—then bringing that vision to life through compelling design. I’ve especially enjoyed supporting new businesses with their branding and print needs, including logos, business cards, brochures, print ads, and websites.

For the past eight years, I’ve also produced the monthly newsletter for Community Papers of Michigan, an organization that supports member publications throughout the state.

In 2020, during the quarantine, I took the opportunity to expand my skills in digital advertising. I learned how to effectively support small businesses by creating targeted paid social media campaigns, developing engaging organic content, and even setting up a Shopify storefront to help one business sell products online.

I consider myself highly resourceful when it comes to finding creative solutions that align with client goals. The samples in this portfolio represent just a small selection of the work I’ve produced over nearly three decades in the field.
